A Verse Unbound Production in collaboration with Clart Project and Cao Cong
Premiered in World Stage Design Scenofest 2017
Role: Co-Choreographer, Performer, Co-Devisor
Lingering Games is a group devised physical theatre project. Working with 8 creative artists including choreographers, theatre physical actors, contemporary dancers, visual artist, improvised musician and theatre practitioners, director/scenographer Cao Cong directed and designed the performance to reveal our wonderings in the impermanent life and create a complex game of recurring life routines woven by internal desire. In the first phase, Cao experimented the concept with MA Design for Stage, Puppetry and Performance Art students of Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in a collaborative project "(dis) placed", a creative team was then formed to start devising with space, objects and other beings. Live composed music was introduced in the third stage while we gradually found the performing language and lifted it to a more precise structure. This is where Lingering Games comes into shape.

LINGERING GAMES
